SSB BART Group: Noteworthy Differences between WCAG 1 and 2

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Version 2 (WCAG 2) provide a much needed update of the original WCAG guidelines. Several of the original guidelines included language stating “until user agents support”. Many of the associated checkpoints for these items have been removed in WCAG 2 and do not appear as checkpoints. Additionally, other guidelines are no longer required – some are simply removed while others have been moved to advisory techniques or moved to Level AAA conformance.
